Why use pet sitting?

Pet sitting means your pets get to stay in their own home where they feel safe and secure, it also means that your home will be checked on daily. We will bring your mail in, take your bins in and out and turn lights on and off.

 

What areas do you service?

Orange NSW 2800 . Please note there is a fee for travel once past the 80 km zones

 

Who will be entering my home?

Cin’s Pet Sitting is run by me, Cindy Culverson, from time to time if I am unavailable my parents Viv and Bob will help out. If this is to happen, we will notify you ASAP to inform you of the change.

 

What if my pet sitters are sick?

If we are  unable to care for your pets we will reach out to you and your emergency contact ASAP

 

What happens if I get held up and don’t return when I am meant to

Please let me know if something happens and you are unable to return home on the day you have told me, we can continue pet sitting until you return.

 

Do you have holidays?

Yes. I take 4 weeks off a year. Dates are posted in our online portal and Facebook and notice is given to regular dog walking clients as soon as dates are set

 

When are you booked out?

Easter and Christmas are our busiest times of years and we book out fast, any other dates are posted on Time to Pet.

 

Im a first-time client, what do I need to do?

Send me a message with your pets details and what dates you are needing, from there I can let you know if I have availability If the booking can go ahead I will email a link to our online portal to book. We will then arrange a time for me to come around for a Meet and Greet where we can all meet each other and go over everything that needs to be done.

 

Why can’t I book in?

There are two reasons for this. We are currently booked out for the time period or the service you have requested OR you have booked in after 4pm for visits starting the next day. If you need next day pet sitting please text and we will try to fit you in, please note there is a $10 fee for bookings made after 4pm for the following day.

Why did you start pet sitting?

I started pet sitting in 2004 when I was working at Electrolux. I was looking for a second job and had a passion for animals…. So this is what came of it! Since the birth of my daughter in 2015 I have finished up working my other jobs and now doing Pet Sitting and Dog Walking full time

 

What is the difference between a drop in visit and a 30 min visit?

A drop in visit is great for smaller animals who are a bit shy, I come in and feed, change water and poop clean up and leave. A 30 min visit is feed, water and poop clean up as well as play time and if needed, a short walk.

 

What happens if my pet is sick while in your care?

If your pet isn’t well during your time away, I will make contact with you, if I am unable to contact you I will contact your emergency contact. If I believe your pet needs vet treatment and I am unable to get hold of you I will take them to the vet.

 

Can I book reoccurring weekly dog walks?

Yes, I offer weekly dog walks, we don’t always have room available so send me a message and I can see if I can fit you in.

 

What happens if its too cold or too hot?

I don’t walk if the weather is too hot or cold, we will stay at your home and do play time there.

 

Can I book every other day visits?

No, I only offer pet sitting if you are booking every day. Too much can go wrong in a small amount of time and I like to check in daily.

 

Covid

Please let me know ASAP if you are in isolation for any reason, I am unable to care for your pet during this time. If you are away and I am pet sitting and need to isolate ,Viv or Bob will take over the visits. IF they are unable to, we will reach out to your emergency contact

 

Do you care for aggressive animals?

No. I can try to work with animals who are difficult but if at any time I feel threatened I will no longer be able to care for your pets.

I must be able to enter your home and care for your pet safely

 

Do you do over night stays?

No, I only offer drop in visits to your home, I am unable to stay over night

 

Do you take pets in for boarding at your home?

No, I only offer drop in visits to your own home, I am unable to take pets into my home

 

How do I pay?

Full Payment is due 7 days before start of services

Can I cancel?

Yes! A full refund will be given if cancelled more than 7 days before you leave.

 

Do you walk multiple dogs at once?

I only walk dogs from the same family together.

 

Do you take my dog to the dog park?

No, all walks are done on lead around where you live. I don’t transport dogs to other locations to carry out dog walking.
